Advice to the Kind Lady at GNC

This post is dedicated to the sweet lady being innocently mislead at GNC.

I walked to GNC today on a mission to see if I could find pure DMAA(1,3-dimethylamylamine) in powdered form. I had previously tried OxyElite Pro and loved its euphoria inducing effect. What I didn’t like was that every time I popped and OEP pill, within 10 minutes there was a mass exodus of my lower intestines. I did some research and found the euphoric effect was not due to the caffeine content in OEP… which is actually quite low. Which makes sense, since OEP never really gave me a crash while I was trying it. The euphoria I would get had me skipping around the neighborhood like a little girl and giggling. I don’t care… judge me. So I concluded DMAA was the culprit and wanted to experiment with it and yohimbine HCI and yerba mate as a slightly more natural replacement which doesn’t require me to be near a bathroom.

Long story short, OEP was 2x as expensive at GNC than the online shop, and pure DMAA was not sold pure at GNC. I should note… DMAA is starting to become a party drug, a nootropic, and a pre-workout ingredient in popular supplements like Jack3d by USP labs.

However, while I was looking around at other products, I couldn’t help but overhear this sweet lady telling her story to the GNC worker about how she doesn’t have time to workout and has put on too much weight recently. She was basically begging this GNC employee to save her. So, the good GNC person recommended weight-loss thermogenics, meal replacements, and then proceeded to discuss a 500 calorie a day option with her. I tried to resist… I really did…. But then I leaped on my high-horse to save the day!

“Excuse me, have your tried a paleo or keto diet? I could never do meal replacements…. I have tried. I eat the bar or drink the shake… then I am still hungry so I go off and eat the meal I was suppose to skip!”

What I really wanted to say is… “Don’t waste your money on magic pills! If you can’t make time to exercise, you HAVE to change your diet or suffer the consequences!”

We all know we need exercise… we all want to look great…. but no black-magic science pill is going to get your over-eating carb-based diet in check. And here is why. When you eat a slice of bread it acts on your opiate receptors. It is OPIUM to your brain. I know for me personally, if I eat one slice of bread, the next day I’ll eat two, then the third day I’ll have 5, and then the fourth day it’s the loaf and I want more, MORE, MORE!

The only option that has ever worked for me is eating bulletproof paleo to my hearts content. My average day consists of 1-2 whole lindt 90% dark chocolate bars, half a pound of bacon, 1-2lbs of grass-fed beef, veggies drenched in butter, whey protein (5oz-20oz) and whatever else that is fatty or meaty that I can get my hands on.

So to the sweet lady being swindled at GNC, here is my advice:

#1. Eat more protein than you are currently eating. Since you are not working out, your protein need is quite simple. Eat lean protein (Preferably grass-fed or salmon) otherwise chicken breast or eggs. And make sure you are eating at least as many grams as your ideal body weight. So if you want to weigh 130, you eat 130 grams etc. Eating more is absolutely fine, but eating less is not.

#2 Understand that your digestive track is going to be craving carbs and you must refrain at least 6 days a week. This is because the bacteria in your gut actually use them for energy. These bacteria, essentially poo out enzymes which your body absorbs causing you to crave more sugar/carbs. Your current diet has let these sugar eating bacteria run rampant in your system, so your first aim needs to be to get your gut flora back on track. I suggest eating lots of avocados, butter, bacon, and 85% or higher cocoa dark chocolate until your cravings stop. I essentially stuffed my face with protein and fat anytime my sweet tooth went off.

P.S. Carbohydrates are found in = breads, pastas, potatoes, sugars, nuts, chocolate less than 85%, milk, and beans. Fiber is a carbohydrate but it actually promotes good gut flora, so eating fiberous vegetables are fine such as broccoli, spinach, etc. ( I recommend cooking in butter or coconut oil for taste.

P.S.S. – Eat carbs every once every 7 days. Preferably at night…. Eat whatever you want.

#3 If you do #1 and #2 you will be on track and should start seeing results in less than a week… dramatic results. To support your efforts, further, find a way to get a walk in everyday. Either walk the dog, walk your boys to the grocery store, or walk to the nail salon. You don’t need to work out, you just need to move, because the more you find ways to move throughout the day, the more energy your body will be forced to give you. You will feel better, and small movements will reduce inflammation overtime which will drop off that extra fluff and keep you looking sexy.

If you follow these three steps, your hormones will reset and get back on track. They will start working in your favor keeping you healthy and full of energy. Once your hormones are back in balance from eating this way, your body will be forced to become a fat burning machine.

Best of luck cute lady at GNC. If you have questions you can email me at [email protected]
